Sri Vinayagam is a disciple of Swami A. Parthasarathy and an alumni of the Vedanta Academy, Malavli, Pune.
He has completed his Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the United States and briefly served in the financial industry.
After his return to India, his inquiry about life and its purpose steered him to meet Swamiji. Under Swamiji's guidance, he completed the three year full-time residential program at the Vedanta Academy.
Since completion of his course in 2017, he is engaged in full-time study, research and propagation of Vedanta. ​
